Here at Adventures in Spanish we have been delivering Spanish lessons to the Home Education community for over 10 years. Our Spanish courses were born to serve the needs of home educating families who’s children, keen to learn Spanish do not have access to Spanish tutors.
You want a tutor who understands about Home Education. Which is what makes Adventures in Spanish so unique; Kelly home educated her own children through primary school and is familiar with the learning needs of home educated children. She understands how learning takes place differently to that in main-stream school and develops lessons plans to suit small learning groups of no more than 10 children.

BEGINNERS SPANISH CLASSES KS2 (6-11 YEARS)
Price for next 7-week course £56pp (includes student workbook).
We run three weekly beginners Spanish classes for ages 6-11 years. Choose from the following days:
- Mondays 12-12:45
- Tuesdays 10-10:45
- Fridays 10-10:45
Fun & engaging Spanish classes designed to support home educating children new to learning Spanish. Our beginners Spanish classes include brand new course content (inline with the KS2 curriculum) to ensure that children are introduced to the Spanish language in a way that supports them from an early age. BEGINNERS SPANISH CLASSES KS3 (11-14 YEARS)
Price for next 7-week course £70pp (includes student workbook).
We run two weekly beginners Spanish classes for ages 11-14 years. Choose from the following classes:
- Tuesdays 12-1pm
- Wednesdays 10-11am
The beginners KS3 Spanish class for home educated children is perfect for 11-14 year old’s who are interested in learning Spanish for the first time. Children use a student booklet that is provided by us. Your brilliant Spanish tutor dips in and out of this and mixes the lessons up with some of our own Spanish resources too – which we make accessible in our Google Classroom. As always, our Spanish lessons are fun and interactive with a focus on improving speaking confidence and developing listening skills.

IMPROVERS SPANISH CLASSES KS2 (6-11 YEARS)
Price for next 7-week course £70pp (includes student workbook).
We run one improvers Spanish class for 7-11 years;
- Mondays 2-3pm
This home education Spanish class is designed for children aged 7-11 years who already have some Spanish or who have progressed from our Beginners class.

IMPROVERS SPANISH CLASSES KS3 (11-14 YEARS)
Price for next 7-week course £105pp (includes student workbook).
We run one improvers Spanish class for 7-11 years;
- Thursdays 2.30-4pm (Bookings open 16/05/24)
These are improvers KS3 Spanish classes for home educated children that provide the foundations from which students can then build on if they wish to continue on to (i)GCSE Spanish level. Students use a student booklet that is provided in pdf. format.

(I)GCSE SPANISH CLASS
Price for next 7-week course £112pp (includes student workbook).
Our iGCSE Spanish class takes place on;
- Wednesday 2.30-4pm (Bookings open 15/05/24)
Designed to meet the needs of Home Educating parents wanting their children to sit the Spanish (i)GCSE (or equivalent) exam by 2024/25. Lessons are fun and interactive with a focus on developing confidence as we move through Spanish GCSE curriculum.
Students are asked to buy a copy of the CGP GCSE AQA Spanish Exam Practice Work Book as well as The Spanish Revision Guide prior to the first lesson. Both are available on Amazon. We combine other on line resources to support these books and bring the themes and topics to life. We also mix the lessons up with some of our own resources too. There are activities to do in-between lessons.

TEENS SPANISH CONVERSATION CLASS
Mondays 3-4pm. £15 pp per class.
Choose from the following upcoming sessions;
- Monday 22nd April: Special guest – native Spanish-speaker.
- Monday 29th April: Describe the image session using “HATS”
- Monday 13th May: Special guest – native Spanish speaker.
- Monday 20th May: Describe the image session using “HATS”
A brilliant Spanish conversation class for teens designed to help build speaking confidence through a series of topic-based 60-minute lessons. Lessons are highly interactive with key vocabulary and phrases that students will use. NEW FOR 2024: Native Spanish-speakers as guest tutors.
PRE-GCSE SPANISH CLASS
A brand new group starting in September 2024.
This class has been designed to bridge the gap between KS3 improvers and the GCSE group to ensure they are prepared for the GCSE curriculum. Suitable for ages 10+(due to curriculum content) younger students are accepted at tutors discretion.
